Soi 30th 📍North Park

This small Thai restaurant in North Park has just right combo of ambiance, friendly service and delicious food. While the tom kha soup keeps me coming back, the staff always makes me feel right at home. They are prompt, smiling and on top of things! I highly recommend trying Soi 30th next time you are in the south end of North Park.

Flower Fields 📍Carlsbad

LAST DAY this Sunday - online tickets only. If you have been thinking of visiting the flower fields, this weekend is your last chance - they are closing for the season. The buttercups (ranunculus) and sunflowers are in bloom!

Disability Accessible Beaches 📍throughout San Diego

Thanks to the City of San Diego and various other resources, there are 9 beaches in San Diego with free wheelchairs for those in need. They are first come, first served, so please check this page for the different contact lines for each beach.
You may also purchase or rent sand access mats from local company Access Trax. Founded by 2 local occupational therapists and serving those in need since 2018.

Beautiful moderate hike with great views. There are a few slightly steeper sections, but I’ve done this with kids and active grandparents, so it’s doable for most. It can get busy on a weekend afternoon, so head out early! The crowds do thin out the further you get from the trailhead, so be sure to do the entire loop.

PRO TIP: Bring sunscreen and hats - lots of sun exposed sections.
